Below is a helpful checklist of items you should have in your home so guests have a great experience.

Chances are that you already own many of these items, but it’s a good idea to double check this list for anything you may be missing.

Keep in mind that if any items below could run out during a guests stay (such as toilet paper), it is a good idea to have backup available and easily accessible for your guests.

If any appliances in your house are not common or are tricky to use, consider putting instructions of how to use them in a welcome book or sign placed near the appliance (for example, instructions on how to use a pellet stove).
