Process for filing a claim for an Airbnb reservation
If you wish to file an Airbnb liability insurance claim, you can fill out this form on Airbnb's site. Anyone who needs to report an incident for potential insurance coverage—this could be a homeowner, guest, or third parties like a lawyer or property owner—can use this form to submit the claim.
Tips for filing:
Select "No" that you are the host.
For "what is your involvement in this incident?" select "Property owner: The landlord or owner, not the host"
Provide as much detail as possible.
After the claim is submitted, you will be put into direct contact with the claims adjuster.

Optional coverage
While you are automatically opted in for liability insurance on Airbnb, you can choose to use your own personal liability insurance. Additional optional insurance can sometimes be used in conjunction with or instead of your channel’s included liability insurance. Your advisor can help you figure out if you need additional liability insurance, and what liability insurance plans are best for you.
